There's no cure for PMOS yet, but it can be managed. Lifestyle changes, care from your doctor and the right support can help with the signs. A food supplement such as follicare can be part of that support, never a replacement for diagnosis and treatment.

follicare is a daily drink powder for women with PMOS (formerly PCOS). Each 4 g sachet has myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol in a patented 3.6:1 ratio (1,100 mg and 300 mg), with zinc, vitamin D3, folic acid, inulin, cinnamon and mulberry leaf. It assists with managing insulin resistance.

follicare replaces The Concevoir, The One (one month) and The Ever Prepared (three months). It keeps the same inositol at the same dose (1,100 mg myo-inositol and 300 mg D-chiro-inositol in the patented 3.6:1 ratio) and adds zinc, vitamin D3, cinnamon and mulberry leaf. The sachet is now 4 g, taken once a day.

Tear open one sachet and stir it into 120 ml of warm water until it dissolves, once a day, ideally before breakfast. A little natural sediment may remain because of the botanical ingredients. Take it every day; 30 sachets last a month.

Many women take follicare while trying to conceive, and each sachet includes 400 mcg of folic acid. follicare supports ovulatory function but cannot promise pregnancy. If you are under fertility treatment such as IVF or IUI, check with your fertility doctor before adding any supplement.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before combining follicare with any medication. If you take metformin, insulin or another blood-glucose-lowering medicine, check with your doctor first and monitor your blood glucose before and during use, as the pack advises. Inositol and these medicines both act on insulin signalling.

Every woman is different, so there's no fixed timeline. Many women take follicare every day for three months before judging how it suits them, which is why there's a 3-month pack. If you have concerns about your cycle or symptoms, speak to your doctor.

That's fine. Carry on with one sachet the next day as usual. Don't take two to make up for it.

Yes. follicare is vegan and gluten-free, with no colouring, sweetener, preservative or added flavour. It's made in Malaysia in a Halal-certified, GMP, HACCP and ISO-certified facility.

follicare is made for women with PMOS. If you have irregular periods or other signs but no diagnosis, see a doctor first so you know what's behind them. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, speak to your doctor before use.

Yes. Take follicare in the morning, before breakfast, and Feminoria at night, after your evening meal. If you take medication or have a medical condition, check with your doctor first.
