Why a 3.6:1 ratio?
follicare uses a patented 3.6:1 ratio of myo- to D-chiro-inositol: 1,100 mg and 300 mg in every sachet. A 2019 randomised trial compared this ratio with a 40:1 formula. Both groups took 1,100 mg of myo-inositol a day; the 40:1 group took 27.6 mg of D-chiro-inositol instead of 300 mg. The ratio comes from Caronositol Fertility®, the core ingredient: a patented formula developed in Spain that won a NutraIngredients-USA Award in 2022.
What does the research show?
In a 2019 randomised trial, 60 women with PMOS (PCOS) undergoing ICSI (a form of IVF) took either the 3.6:1 MI:DCI ratio used in follicare (1,100 mg myo-inositol and 300 mg D-chiro-inositol a day) or a standard 40:1 formula for 12 weeks.

How is follicare different from The Concevoir, The One and The Ever Prepared?
follicare replaces The Concevoir, The One (one month) and The Ever Prepared (three months). It keeps the same inositol at the same dose (1,100 mg myo-inositol and 300 mg D-chiro-inositol in the patented 3.6:1 ratio) and adds zinc, vitamin D3, cinnamon and mulberry leaf. The sachet is now 4 g, taken once a day.
Who is follicare for?
follicare is made for women with PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, formerly PCOS), including women who are trying to conceive. It assists with managing insulin resistance, one of the key drivers of PMOS. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication, speak to your doctor first.
Can I take follicare while trying to conceive?
Many women take follicare while trying to conceive, and each sachet includes 400 mcg of folic acid. follicare supports ovulatory function but cannot promise pregnancy. If you are under fertility treatment such as IVF or IUI, check with your fertility doctor before adding any supplement.
Can I take follicare with metformin or other medication?
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before combining follicare with any medication. If you take metformin, insulin or another blood-glucose-lowering medicine, check with your doctor first and monitor your blood glucose before and during use, as the pack advises. Inositol and these medicines both act on insulin signalling.
Which size should I choose?
The 1-month pack has 30 sachets for RM198. The 3-month pack has 90 sachets for RM518, which works out at RM5.76 a day and saves RM76. Many women choose three months so they can take follicare consistently, every day, without running out.
